Patience is a photography app that makes you slow down the rhythm of taking pictures, which has so much increased nowadays with the use of smartphones. We're submerged by all the photos we accumulate and the idea behind Patience was to rediscover the joy of forgetting the pictures before seeing them for the first time, like in the old days of film photography. Patience is a response to the tyranny of instantaneity. You first have to choose a roll with different parameters : number of shots, time of processing and style (five color filters, one black and white for now). After taking a picture, you'll have to wait several hours (from 6 hours, up to a week) before being able to see it. All your photos and rolls are stored in a special library, where you can manage them. Editing is accessed by long pressing on a photo thumbnail. You can then delete, save or rename a roll. Though, for being able to export and save your photos to the iPhone library you will have to purchase the full version of the app. Waiting can be frustrating, but the reward will be so much satisfying :) Contact : patiencecamera@gmail.com
